What’s your turnaround time?

​

Turnaround is usually 5–10 working days from final artwork and payment. Complex jobs (multi-layer, foil, binding) might take a little longer.

Working to a tight deadline? Let us know upfront — we’ll always try to help (rush fees may apply).

How much does it cost?

​

Costs depend on the details: print size, number of colours (for Riso), foil choices, quantity, paper stock, and any finishing touches.

Can you help me set up my files?

​

Yes! We offer a File Set-Up Service (£30/hour, 1hr minimum) to make sure your work prints beautifully. We’ll prep your files for Riso or foil, send a digital proof, and include two rounds of amendments. More info here.

How do I deliver my artwork to you?

​

Once we’ve confirmed your order, you can send files via email or WeTransfer. Please follow the specs in our Print Guide, but if you're unsure, we're happy to check.

Recommended formats:

• PDF, TIFF, or high-res PNG

• 300dpi

• Riso: each colour on a separate greyscale layer

Do you have a minimum order?

​

Not exactly — but setup costs mean small runs are priced accordingly. We recommend ordering at least 20–30 copies for Riso and 100+ items for foil to get the best value.

​

Can I mix Risograph & Foil?

​

Yes — and we love doing it. Let us know early if you're after a foil + Riso combo so we can plan file prep, order of printing, and timings.

​

Can I get a proof?

​

We provide digital soft proofs before printing. You can also request a hard proof (a physical print sample of your job) for an extra fee — just let us know.

​

Do you offer design help?

​

We do! From full designs to layout tweaks or colour separations, we offer creative support tailored to print. Find out more on our Art & Design page.

Do you offer binding or finishing?

​

We can offer basic finishing like trimming, hole punching, folding, and hand collating. For zines and small books, we may be able to help with binding — just ask when quoting.

Can I see samples?

​

Yes! We offer sample packs with our Riso inks, paper stocks, and foil colours so you can get a feel for the magic before committing. Order yours here.

Where do you ship?

​

We currently ship within the UK only. Orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked or courier. You’ll get a tracking number once it’s in the post.

​

My order hasn’t arrived / is damaged — help!

​

Oh no! Please email print@inkandrepeat.co.uk with your order number and photos (if damaged). We’ll do our best to sort it out and can often raise a claim with the courier if needed.

Can I return my order?

​

As all print jobs are custom-made, we don’t accept returns. But if something’s gone wrong on our end, we’ll put it right — just get in touch.

Is Risograph and hot foil printing eco-friendly?

​

Yes — both Risograph and hot foil are more sustainable than many traditional print methods.

​

Risograph uses soy or rice bran oil-based inks and low-energy machines that produce minimal waste. We pair this with recycled or FSC-certified paper stocks to keep things planet-conscious.

​

Hot foil is a dry process — no ink, no solvents — and most foils are fully recyclable when applied to paper.

​

We aim to keep our footprint small and your prints joyful. Low waste, low energy, and full of heart.
